By the early 2000's, we became famous for our bold wild game burgers and introduced bison and elk to our menu!
Today, we are humbled by the thousands of visitors each year from around the world and our returning locals that have kept Penelope's World Famous Burgers a staple of Estes Park's downtown!

What started as a passion for the perfect burger has grown into something we never could have imagined — a community of burger lovers spanning every continent on the globe.
Every year, thousands of guests walk through our doors from towns near and far, and we love celebrating every single one of them. That's why we keep our Visitor Map — a living, record of everywhere our visitors call home. From neighboring towns to countries across the globe, our guests pin their hometowns and leave a little piece of themselves at Penelope's. Some visitors even leave a bill from their home country to pin to our walls - a cherished tradition that has turned our restaurant into a tapestry of currencies from around the world and a colorful reminder that great burgers truly speak every language.
2025 was our biggest year yet, welcoming more visitors than any year before. We couldn't be more grateful for every single guest who supported us!
